Are you fed up with the blatant sexism we still see on a daily basis? You should be, whether you're male or female. Sexism isn't good for anyone, regardless of their gender. Yet products such as Clorox, Bounty, and Dawn continue portraying gender stereotypes in their ads--as if it's somehow relevant in the 21st century.
For example, Bounty shows dad as a hapless buffoon in the kitchen, making a huge mess as the kids look on. And then what happens? Why, mom comes home, takes a shocked look around--but she's not upset! she is, after all, mom and you know where she belongs--and then proceeds to clean up the mess. But, what's the message? That if you're born with ovaries you're somehow better able to clean? I don't think so.
